Laurita Jackson, Managing Partner of 1Source Office and Facility Supply, a growing supplies distributor serving Memphis and the nation. A native Memphian and graduate of Central High School, Laurita earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Howard University in Washington, D.C. and an MBA from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Laurita began her career at Xerox in Rochester, New York in 1986, progressing through a series of engineering roles. At Xerox, she later combined her technical and business expertise in her transition to product launch manager.
After her return to Memphis in 2004, she joined 1Source (formerly Memphis Chemical & Janitorial Supply Company), serving as vice president of business development until her promotion to executive vice president in 2010 and managing partner in 2013.
Under Laurita’s leadership and entrepreneurial vision, the successful Memphis Chemical & Janitorial Supply Company rebranded to 1Source to reflect the expansion of the company and its full array of product offerings nation-wide.
Among other accolades, the company was named a finalist in the 2011 Memphis Business Journal’s Small Business of the Year, and received the Quality Cup Award from the Greater Memphis Chamber in 2008.
Laurita is a proud resident of the Memphis community, serving on the steward board of Saint Andrew AME Church. She and her husband, Darryl, are the parents of three children: Jarrett, Jean and Joy.
Greg McLeod, a native Minnesotan, is co-Managing Partner of 1Source Office and Facility Supply. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He graduated with High Distinction and first in his class in 1988 and is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Business Honor Society and the Carlson School of Management Honor Society.
Greg was the 1988 recipient of the Pillsbury Scholastic Achievement Award for outstanding achievement at the Carlson School of Management. He quickly distinguished his innovative approach to business in his first role as a Strategic Account Manager for Cargill, Inc, in Minneapolis, MN and Monroe, MI, proving adeptness at pursuing, establishing, and nurturing long-term, mutually-beneficial customer relationships.
In 1992, McLeod contributed his talents to UARCO (now Standard Register), progressing from Account Representative to National Account Manager, Sales Manager, and finishing as Region Manager for operations in Columbus, OH. In his five years of service to UARCO/Standard Register, he honed his talent in managing budgets and corporate accounts, specializing in account penetration strategy and recruiting, hiring, and training personnel for sales and administrative positions, among others.
In 1997, Greg furthered his career in 10 years with Corporate Express (now Staples, Inc.) as Division Vice President in the Ohio Valley Division, later progressing to senior positions as Group Vice President – Midwest, Region Vice President – Central Region, President – Mid-South Division and President – Minnesota Division.
Greg joined Innovative Office Solutions in Minneapolis in 2008 as Chief Operating Officer. Under Greg’s leadership he and his team created one of the fastest growing and most successful independent dealers in the country, expanding revenue organically from $14 million to $50 million over a 4 ½ year period.
Throughout his career Greg has developed and implemented a wide array of innovative, high-impact programs to exceed client expectations and improve the overall performance of the businesses he represents. He joined the leadership team at 1Source Office and Facility Supply in September 2013.
Greg lives in Lakeville, Minnesota and is the proud parent of four children; John, Katie, Jennifer and Sarah. His hobbies include family activities, motorcycle riding, general aviation, downhill skiing, camping, reading, and personal fitness.
